2009 Hoot-n-Holler
Hoot-N-Holler was a huge success! A huge thanks
to the Executive Surf Club for doing such a fantastic
job hosting the event. We were able to watch
the '99 Bonfire game on a projection screen that was set
up on the stage, as well as have it broadcast on the
TV’s located at the back bar.
We had many new Aggies in attendance including two
former players. Good times were had by all as both
the Longhorns and the Aggies were on their best behavior
in sharing a little friendly rivalry. As always,
it was fun to spend time with friends both new and old.
The Corpus Christi Texas Exes will host the 2010
Hoot-N-Holler at a location of their choice. Until
then we will hope for a good off-season and look forward
to cheering on our Aggie football team next season.

About Hoot-n-Holler
Fall is nearly here, Thanksgiving is not far behind,
and you know what that means…TAMU vs. tu football! Hoot-N-Holler
is not quite as big a tradition as the game itself, but
nonetheless is a great opportunity to show your support
for the Ags and get ready for the big game.
Hoot-N-Holler is held every year in preparation for the
“Lone Star Showdown” football game between the Aggies of
Texas A&M and rival Longhorns of University of Texas. In
odd years the game is held at Kyle Field in College Station
and Hoot-N-Holler is hosted by the Nueces County A&M Club
at a location of our choice. In even years the game is held
at Darrel K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin and
Hoot-N-Holler is hosted by the Corpus Christi Chapter of
Texas Exes at a location of their choice.
